Where we stay

Five places.
Choose the feeling first.

We work across the western Bay of Plenty and the Coromandel coast. Start with a place—or simply the kind of holiday you want—and we will look at what is genuinely available.

Waihī Beach and its long curve of shoreline seen from the headland.
01

Waihī Beach

Long beach mornings, village lunches and room to disappear.

Nine kilometres of sand, easy village days and coastal tracks leading north towards Orokawa. A natural fit for families, long weekends and summer holidays that do not need an itinerary.

Whenuakura Island sitting just offshore from Whangamatā.
02

Whangamatā

Surf, harbour and a little more life around the edges.

A generous beach with a harbour at one end and forest close behind. Choose Whangamatā when the group wants time on the water, good food nearby and a town that still feels relaxed outside the summer rush.

The quiet sweep of Whiritoa Beach beneath bush-covered headlands.
03

Whiritoa

A smaller beach settlement with a beautifully unhurried rhythm.

Bush-framed headlands, a long surf beach and very little clamour. Whiritoa suits holidays built around the house, the people in it and the decision to do less for a while.

A wide Coromandel Peninsula bay with green headlands and offshore islands.
04

The Coromandel

Coves, bush roads and holidays organised around the water.

The broadest of our search areas: coastal settlements, hidden bays and places where the setting matters more than a particular postcode. Tell us the pace you want and we will narrow the peninsula with you.

A heritage mural on a weatherboard building in Katikati.
05

Katikati

Harbour-edge countryside between the Kaimais and the coast.

Known for its murals, gardens and gentler rural pace, Katikati is a different kind of base: close to the western Bay of Plenty, with orchard country, harbour light and the beach still within reach.
